Are our soybeans currently cheaper than anything China can source from any part of South America? I’ve mentioned this before , and usually get buried by 6 giant excavators. No one wants a lower price for their soybeans. Yet here we are , me included, want cheaper inputs. If our soybeans are cheap enough they should spark demand. Soybeans are a raw commodity, does the USA soybean have a dollar a bushel more value in its 60#? 555 you’ve mentioned we have an expense problem in government, spending too much. It’s the same problem in Ag. The balancing act is who gets to brunt the bulk of the pain to realign things? I’m not very smart , but usually the producer of raw commodities wins that prize.
