Subject: Potash on frozen ground?

near Mtl, QC
I got caught here with winter coming in sooner than normal. Still have some corn stubble going to soybean next spring and did not have time to apply potash on those fields. I apply it with a strip freshener.

Now ground starting to froze so strip freshener will not work. No big of a deal as I will do those in the spring.

Question, is applying potash is a good idea? Will use my strip till to be able to band it on the surface, but not worked.

Or I am better to keep all that next spring. One man operation so if postash still a good idea now, it will be way faster just strip without fertilizer.

TIA
