We had a drill press similar to that one when I was a kid. Ours was a Black & Decker probably made in the seventies. The drill was a 1/2” that just clamped in so that it could be taken out and used by hand. There was no variable speed. When using that drill by hand it was a good idea to hang on. The length of the cord determined how many times you got to spin around. Lol
