The further I go down the soil health path, the more questions I have.

Absolutely. The more things you test and try the more knowledge you gain. You might get a question or two answered, but you've also now created a scenario where you have a half a dozen new questions!

Dwayne Beck had an example. 30. Years ago his soil test was 5 on P1, 30 years of continuous corn, great crops,.zero P applied and his soil test is still a 5.

Through soil, health and understanding soil, your P1 Bray is not an indicator of how much you need to keep applying. It's an indicator of how well your soil is functioning. If you have to apply phosphorus to maintain a P1 your soil is not cycling nutrients, it is not functioning.

Crop removal rate fertility is a scam.

The guy grading your soil test has his income based on the results. How often do you think you're going to pass that test..

Every University out there will say if you have 20+ PPM on your P1 there's no real need to apply much phosphorus. The crop response is not there to pay for that application.

Retail agronomy doesn't make money telling you that your phosphorus is good. They make money on telling you that you need to keep applying to maintain your soil.
