I don't have a problem with addressing China, its how we are going about it that is completely stupid imo. You can't bully someone into liking you and if you want any kind of meaningful long term agreements with teeth there is going to need to be some mutual respect. The old say "keep your friends close and enemies closer" comes to mind. We should be targeting Brazil to slow down their expansion by getting other countries on board. If you really wanted to control China you would try to be their food source that way you have serious leverage. Put the hurts to Brazil expansion and you would gain power with China. Right now China has more important leverage with pharmaceuticals and rare earths, we don't have much on them.
