Because $2 premium to Brazil price for 1 billion bushels of US beans per year is a mere chit*tance of the value of some of the tariff costs that probably were absorbed by Chinese manufacturers or the lost income as US consumers look to find a cheaper substitute for tariffed Chinese goods.

Notice I said “mere chit*tance” which means cheap in the grand scheme of things.
