USSEC the international marketing organization for ASA and USB has been working in India for years helping them learn how to use their own soybeans at home mostly in poultry. This has led to them not exporting their meal and beans to the area. We have worked diligently to pick up those markets and are continuing to work to get our beans into India. 
India beans are not as good of quality as ours and carry a reddish color which is not desirable. 

Although some don’t think the checkoff does much, this type of work takes time and effort and is starting to payoff.
