Do you have corn earworm pressure? That is where the Viptera trait comes in. We do on a regular basis, but not enough that anyone pays attention to it. Couple years ago I had 14830AM and 14830AML next to each other in the plot. The AML was 5 bushel better and I'm certain it was all corn earworm. By looking at the ears before harvest there was very minimal visible damage. 5 bushel isn't a large percentage difference on 300 bushel, but 5 bushel is still 5 bushel.
