CHS is a world wide organization, largest cooperative in the US.  Most grain companies operate that way.
CHS makes most of its money on petroleum.  Northern states operating area, refinery in Laurel, MT.

Somebody mentioned Farmland, the coop that went broke in 2002.  They wanted to combine with CHS
at that time, and it is good CHS turned them down.  It would have sunk both of them.
