NEMO | Oh Jim....we can do it for considerably under $100, especially on bulls we own that have been collected. Then on to your other assertion, lets use round numbers. Let's say I have 200 cows and my bred AI percentage is 70 percent ( 60 percent, you're doing something wrong). That means I end up with 60 cows to breed, needing 3 bulls, 2 would be pretty thin on returns. If I didn't AI, I would need 7 bulls, maybe 8 to service the cows on a timely basis. So the way I figure it, that's 4-5 fighting, tearing up fences, injury prone bulls that I don't need. You keep on telling yourself you're doing it right, and it is right for you
