Central Kansas | I don’t know what model of Masterlock you are having trouble with…but….I have 9 brass Masterlocks with bottom 4 digit dial window combination in service, most for 5 years, several 10 years old. All work well. Oil is not a good lock lubricant…silicone much better in my opinion. The aforementioned locks can be set (or reset) to a large number of combination codes. The brass construction seems to be hearty for Kansas weather, these are all outdoor gate locks. | |
