Bextra bale rings and a cake box would be a simpler, cheaper route. The cheapest part of the jump to tmr is the wagon. All the infrastructure adds up. It's worth it, just not cheap.



If you buy Bextras do not buy the green ones, they are 1 gauge lighter then the black or red ones and do not last, other wise the Best Hay Savers will save you a lot of hay also, but you need a fair size tractor or skid steer to move.
