Remington, IN | Do you have any beans in bin storage, where you could put these on trucks and then blend in with the dry beans as you auger the wet beans onto the truck all at the same time?
A few years ago, we got into a situation like that with about 15-20 acres, where I felt 15-16% was too wet, so I waited until they got down to about 19% in the middle of Dec and then got them out:(.
I was able to blend them slowly into the truck using a second auger while we augured out some 10% beans out of a bin. Still ended up with a little dockage, but not too bad. In hindsight, I would have just rolled earlier and took the doc. | |
