They predict price to know what numbers need to be changed to maintain that price. Increase feed, cut exports, increase yield and cut acres or vise versa. Project an extra half a billion bushels and then lower it gradually while predicting 190 bu crop on record acres 3 months before a seed is in the ground . Its magic.
