| Whatever you buy just make sure parts are available. Other considerations are what you have available for a tractor, some don’t take a bunch of hp to run, some seem to take more. I feel like that initial startup when you are full is the hardest. Clearance if you need to go in a barn, also some vertical mixers can be a little tall for some loaders to reach. And what do you want to feed? Bales of dry hay and baleage you would about need a vertical mixer, chopped products, haylage earlage silage and grain you could use a reel mixer but they can’t handle much dry hay unless ground.
