Chebanse, IL..... | I tried some "generic" batteries for a Phantom 4 Pro Plus. I gave up & returned to replacing the batteries with DJI products. I can't remember the exact problems, but it seems like the Phantom didn't recognize the amount of charge left in the generic battery. As with other generics, obviously I bought the wrong one though.
To me, generics are hit & miss.
I bought a Brother laser printer for the office because I was tired of having to replace ink cartridges all the time, or having maps with stripes in them. Many AT-ers suggested laser toners were much much cheaper alternative. This has not been my experience. So, I tried generic toner from one specific supplier. One color would work, the other one wouldn't. Then, the next time the color that did work, wouldn't. I gave up & returned to expensive Brother toners.
Generic ink cartridges. I have 3 printers using ink cartridges. One is a large format, specific photo printer. Tried generic cartridge in photo printer. No go. Tried them in smaller printer...just fine....90% of the time.
Money-wise, I suppose I'm behind the curve on generics because I have to throw away one that doesn't work, even though it was half the price of the name brand item.
I understand they should all be the same, but something must be different at my house. |
