In Tx an unwanted baby can be dropped off at a firehouse .
Our station 1 is on a busy road . Wife being a teacher said “ you are always there , someone is going to drop off an infant sometime “
She said “ what are you going to do then”
My reply was , uhh , Uhh . I dont know what ill do .
She said “ it happens you better figure it out ahead of time “.
I finally said i will call sheriffs office first .
Both our kids are adopted so very familiar with the system. Your first sentence is missing a key phrase it needs to be CONTINUOUSLY MANNED. At least in Michigan adoption agencies spend a large effort to be hospitals agency of choice for safe deliveries. The agency we used paired safe deliveries with the longest waiting couple.
