| Ive always thought the pipes grated on the nerves a bit when played over the airwaves. But in person, they bring an absolute lift to the body and spirit. The saskatoon pipe band (awsome professionals) comes down here and plays for glasgow homecoming and the evening pub crawl every year, and is amazing the feeling it gives.
P.s. i think bagpipers is incorrect, they are refered to as "the pipes" or "the piper", or so a pretty young girl in tartan and wool knee sox told me once long ago. | |
