Have they not set your fire stations up with baby drop boxes yet? This is very common up here. Fire stations, some churches, etc, have climate controlled electronically monitored drop boxes where a parent can leave an unwanted baby less than 90 days (I think) old and be sure of the child being cared for. Monitor goes off as soon as there is a baby in the box, and alerts medical and/or fire personnel so that the baby can be taken to a medical facility asap.
