Have a bridge on a gravel road with 3 separate sections. Beavers have built dams in all 3 sections and I can only reach 1 with our backhoe. Does anybody have any experience or ideas of how to remove these dams besides digging with a shovel? I used a shovel this spring and got them broke down pretty good but they’re back higher than ever now. See photos.

Like others have said got to get rid of the Beavers.

When I was younger an ole timer told me how they use to get rid of them. They would poor used motor oil in the water, oil would get on the Beavers fur and they would leave because they didn't like it.

Too bad you can't use that method today and not get in trouble!
