Western Ontario | It would be a little bit challenging to make yourself but the Mennonites in Ontario make what they call a diamond bar gate and I’d say they’re in the range of 3 times as strong as round or square tube ran the normal way, dang near indestructible. They also make them in aluminum which obviously aren’t quite as strong but my wife has no problem handling a 16 footer by herself, can buy an aluminum in the $300 US range
