| Been with the same Pioneer dealer 6 years. Last fall I paid my Pioneer Financial late because harvest was a wreck. Dealer told me, “Lots of guys are late, don’t sweat it — you’ve never been late before.”
This spring they ran my credit again and re-applied for financing without even asking me, and of course everything went through fine.
Fast forward to planting season, I Had replant, and now I’m getting billed for it. Dealer says I “don’t qualify.” First excuse: I cut acres and dropped from Platinum to Silver for infinity discount. Second excuse: my payment was late.
So which is it? If my payment was such a problem, why did they have zero issue financing me again this year? Or does Pioneer actually pull replant for guys who aren’t 100%?
Feels like I’m getting whatever excuse fits the moment. Anyone else deal with this? | |
