Here in WI we plant the Channel 74,79 and 80 day. But much different climate obviously. They all do well here for early day corn. But you’d have to see how they hold up to that low rainfall environment. The 79 day seems to flex ALOT, and is RR only trait. So maybe that’s a candidate for low populations.The other two are double pros. They have a RR 71 day as well. I have no experience with that one besides one test plot this year. You’re planting plenty of acres so you could test quite a few hybrids and brands to figure out what works best. That’s the ultimate test.
