Have plenty more than 1500 cows, and Believe me I’ve thought this through lots too. A little better soil quality than most our grass. Would take 80ish miles of fence to do it right and about a 800k in grass seed. No current water infrastructure but could be added and there’s good ground water/power available in this location. No surface water whatsoever. I’m guessing 800-900 pair would be more realistic at 8 months on grass. 3000 cows on stalks for 3 months could be arranged as well.

Have 900 heifers bred and ready to calve, was thinking cash would be more fun than calving them.

I’m figuring closer to 16 acres/pair and 2,000/calf average, old enough to know these prices are not going to be here in five years.
