Clarksville, IL | this year was seemed to be tile!! buddy had the same what i was told milo on tiled ground shined!! one farm i had 7000 gallon of liquid hog manure on was disappointed, we've been using dk 3816 been good, tried 4407 buddy had it on tile was great, mine on manure i wasnt happy, dont get me wrong it was good 139 140, but was expecting more. one farm went 133 was replanted i wasnt expecting much. i still think were still learning on this been doing it since 21, did use insecticide in furrow went away from treated see that way saved a lot, would love to use xyway but was told not to, gonna ask a few more questions i got the foam unit now. have sprayed most of it, didnt spray the replant this year wasn't worth it too me. ive kinda dabbled going about 105000 but not sure, one thing on farm on mine where tile is front part is 3 inch about 10 acres had to replant a few spots, back behind was 4 inch and LOOKED AMAZING ALL YEAR. seed rep walking it was shocked in june how much better it was. i did see it was more FULL in between the rows of the tile. where the other was not, we did have a plot but lost it with the rains, had to replant, what i could tell by how it was cut i think the later ones offer more yield, main milo guy told us one variety to plant but couldnt get it found out to late, im gonna try some of it next year my plan, i do think we lost on tail end being so dry, said that the last 3 years now, but i think that has been a issue, i know they say it loves dry weather but still unsure, buyer has always said he loves the high tw we bring, one load was 59.9 others were all above that had 5 at 62.9 all above 15% moisture and some was 16 to 17. did sidedress most of it, I wish i knew the real answer. feel free to ask
