Central ND | Maybe its just a ND thing....?Breeders here were selling stock back and forth to each other on production sales and had a hard time getting others to bid high and win bulls and cows to get them into production commercially. Market discounts basically broke the breeders and sellers of the bloodlines here. I used to have friends that were going to make it big and retire early, but when the offspring made it to commercial market, they took one heck of a bloodbath beating from the buyers. Then the trickledown effect made it back to the breeders. There are crossed up genes floating around out here, but most of what resembles a Tarentaise animal has been culled.
