Subject: RE: Pull grader vs 3 point grader blade

Well, for what it's worth, I've had about 50 years of experience with tractor mounted farm blades. I have used them for about everything that's possible. Depth wheels at the rear are a must have. Preferably two, so it doesn't tip to each side. The further behind the blade the better. Never owned one with steerable rear wheels. That yellow blade, pictured, looks like a pretty good design. I would pass on the green one for track work, or levelling. However it would work okay for ditching. Currently I have a 10 foot blade that I pull with a J.D. 4250 MFWD. It's a good match.
