Coles County, Illinois | I have an early Mavis Air 2 so my batteries are over 5 years old. I went to use it today to take pictures of a big drainage project. I'm a drainage district commissioner and and it's really handy for this type of stuff. So I take off with 38% in the battery and fly out to take a picture. Suddenly I get a forced landing/low battery warning. I'm over 1/4 mile away and it lands in VT'ed cornstalks. Never had a forced landing before but DJI saves the day by leading me right to my drone. Just hope I can get new batteries when these become unusable. | |
