In my opinion I don't think that could be dug in in 8 hours with that size of machine.
Agreed, I did about 1300 feet 4 years ago right now, took the better part of two days. Trencher moved slow enough I just stood next to it and watched. Every so often it would start to jump a little and then throw a rock out of the trench.
