Personally, I would have a wide fenced lane along your bunks to contain escapees as well as provide a place to run any escapees or trouble cows back to a load out area.
Make sure you overbuild your waterer capacity. I personally despise waterers in fence lines because thirsty animals bruise the crap out of fences and themselves depending on which “gives” 1st
