 Pittsburg, Kansas | It takes me down to under 20 grrams to lose weight. I likely still have some insulin resistance, although my last insulin assay was like "9" so fasting insulin levels are decently low.
On a two week cruise where I tried to stay low carb the first two meals of the day and did well but at supper I would eat low carb but indulge in a desert. Gained about 15 poiunds in that two weeks.
Insulin is the key to losing weight. Eat foods that raise insulin levels and I will gain weight. When a diabetic goes on insulin shots they WILL gain weight. Been there, done that.
