East of Broken Bow | We once discussed this at a Bible Study, and there was one guy there who is very well studied, and he said that if you read the original Greek, it can also mean those who are humble in spirit, which to me almost sounds like a better wording. To me it makes more sense to humble yourself to the Lord, but I'm not going so far as to say for sure that is the right translation, because I do not know the meanings of the original words and don't want to risk saying that it is a proper translation when I do not know for sure. | |
