The eastern part of the more tropical Dakota		I have dry fertilizer on my planter. Last year it rained a lot during planting and I took the 2x2 openers off. It made planting more enjoyable again. This year I didn’t put them back on but dribbled dry in front of the trash whippers. Granted it was a good year, but ended up with great yields. It makes me want to try it again. Maybe some of the benefits of banding, without the hassle of openers….
