| We had bought some replacements out of Minnesota a few years back. The broker that shipped them out to us had a middle eastern man and wife running the truck. Nice enough people, ranchers from Turkmenistan. They have sence brought their own truck and we have hired them a few times over the years. One thing they have always politely asked us to do is if we could keep our cow dogs in the house when they come out. Iv happily obliged. The last time they were out I asked the wife if that was for religious reasons or why they ask us to do that. Just trying to be respectful but was curious. She got kind of snotty with me and kind of beat around the bush. I didn’t press the issue any further. I know nothing about their religion or their culture but so many of them are in the trucking industry here now, I’m sure others have encountered this. Have any of you encountered this? Curious on a reason why? Our border collies are a bunch of crazies but are more than polite.
