Just outside downtown Prairie Hill | I don't disagree with the opportunities the collars present... I know of one place they routinely graze crop residue behind a single hot wire. I have wondered @ the liability of that practice.... I am thinking of at least 2 sides to the issue. We carry a nice size insurance policy for liability....just a business decision, but in a pinch they may be looking for a way out....thus my thoughts on legal fence or at least more than one wire. I would want to have an off the record meeting with my insurance guy or gal on this issue. Second is the mental side. Should someone have a serious accident because my cattle were out how am I going to live with the decision to run a single wire... I know of one place they run poly as a single perimeter fence....that's scary to me. Just rambling.... Let me know if you put this into action... Like to come watch. |
