Western-Central Lower Michigan | I also got tired of expensive ink, and finally bought a B&W Canon Laser Image Classs off Amazon. Its a all in one, (scanner, printer). I did call Canon tech support and got a lady with a midwest accent who was very helpbul.
The toner (ink) that comes with it wont last that long(starter size) but I bought toner off Amazon and its been over a year, still printing.
FWIW, I would buy another Canon Laser. If you dont need color, these are very inexpensive.
Glad the inky printer went to Goodwill....
Look on you tube for video's on what you are looking to buy, good tutorials on changing toner or whatever...
