I have posted numerous links over the last few years that warn that diets including high amounts of fructose are bad for health. I adhere to this belief.
But how much is too much???? Is an apple a day going to kill us??? Probably not. Does the dose make the poison???? I think so. And so does Nick Norwitz with some data to back up that claim.

Sugar is half fructose and half glucose with high fructose being about the same with only slightly higher proportion of fructose. If you don't want to watch it the punch line is the body has the capacity to handle a small amount of fructose where it turns it mostly into glucose. It is excessive consumption (like drinking soda or fruit juice all day as opposed to water) where the negative health problems come in.
We have a very small amount of fruit almost every day. Usually a few berries on top of out low carb desert. Sometimes pear or apples from our tree in season or home canned with no added sugar. We do eat avocado pretty regularly also as well as olives, both of which are fruits.
