Central SD | I won’t be single trait selecting. I have seen all the close cows in person. Longevity and type are the most important to me. Not trying to reinvent the wheel. If I wasn’t fairly certain it would work I wouldn’t consider it. I am most concerned about seeing a performance regression with mating 1/4 sibs to each other. I have no real experience with line breeding. I don’t expect to see fertility problems as I know the gene pool enough that it likely won’t show up. | |
