Central MN | Catch test and then field calibration like you're doing to get the cal number (typically cu ft/ rev) so it's as close as you can get, once you have that pretty well set, don't change it. Different products need a different cal number since they flow differently. From there, fine tune using density value. Don't mess with rate.
When spreading straight product, take density reading at beginning of season and can check periodically. Spreading a blend I take reading most loads, in case each batch differs a little. Figure out with trial and error how much to adjust your density reading to what you enter in the machine. | |
