I too use Revereware copper bottom stainless sauce pans. Same ones that Grandma used. Never had anything stick. I do use a non-stick fry pan. I like how 1 lid fits 1 qt to 3 quart sauce pan, 4 pans, 2 lids. I also have a 5 qt copper bottom stock pot but it has it's own lid, bigger....James
