Western Oregon | Burgerville here has a $3.99 burger, small single patty with special sauce and ketchup. Hold the ketchup for me. It was $1.39 before COVID, doubled in the 2 years during, now $3.99. I haven't had one since before COVID. Wife and I ate there when we went to that town about once a month. Went in and sat down to eat. Some times we would share a small fry. Drive through only during covid. Haven't been back. I remember a burger was 19 cents at Bob's burger in the state capitol when I was a kid. They were 39 cents when my kids were young, at the Corvallis Bobs, we would stop whenever we were there getting sheep supplies. We seldom went to Salem. The location in West Salem went upscale for a while when the Portland Trailblazers were involved. It closed a few years later. The Burgerville burger reminded me of Bobs burgers. They also have in season specials, Walla Walla onion rings, raspberry tea, lots of other special in season items.
This last summer was the first time we have eaten out since. Son took us, he knew I would enjoy it. Carl's Jr special limited time halibut sandwich across the street from Burgerville in Monmouth. I love a good halibut sandwich, it didn't disappoint. 3/$10 special. Went back 2 more times. We went to the little park there to eat it. Real enjoyable lunch....James
