Western Oregon | I found a small weather balloon when I was 9, 60 years ago August. It had directions for finder on what to do. They didn't want the balloon, just the black box. Box it up and mail. They paid postage and I got $50 a week after mailing and the story of why. No mention of a reward. It drifted about 50 miles best I could tell from the airport at Newport Oregon. I still have the foil looking balloon on the wall of my garden shed....James | |
