Ohio | Correct me if I am wrong, I am 1/4 of the way thru one of the driest books I have ever read on plant nutrition. The current chapter "Nitrogen and Plant Disease" states that when a plant is given Nitric Acid it can basically direct energy towards disease resistance since it can directly use Nitric Acid without wasting a bunch of energy trying to metabolize it.
That being said, Green lightning creates nitric acid in small amounts if I am not mistaken. Many people have claimed it increases brix levels and makes a healthier looking plant. Most people seeing big results are cutting back on N rates and supplementing with Green Lightning. To much N is proven to create disease. So it would appear to me that we should just skip the Green Lightning machine, buy some nitric acid to foliar and cut back on N rates.
