Western, New York | What Mineral are you buying? I buy a blend from our local mill I feel the ingredients/portions are suited for the area. I feel like the name brand stuff may lack some of the things that are deficient in your area. Or get a nutrionist and have your feed tested and maybe see what they suggest? I think blending your own would be pretty pricey
