| Planning to start fall spraying tomorrow and next week with highs in the 50s. Planning on 8oz Agristar Dicamba and 3-4oz Generic Valor. FS is pricing $2.86 for a quart of FS MaxSupreme and $1.41 for COC. The MaxSupreme is surfactant, drift control agent and water conditioning (AMS). Is the cost really necessary for this mix? It always seems oil is "supposed" to be used for burn, but Dicamba is systemic and not contact so I am not sure it makes sense there, and Valor is aimed at being soil applied for residual. The adjuvant I could see for the water pH reduction and reducing drift, but also not spraying when it is fairly cool so volatility shouldn't be as much of a concern as in season. The Dicamba and Valor will cost a little over $5 so I would like to keep the fall spray cheap. Going after Henbit mostly and some other winter annuals. Does COC increase volatility of Dicamba? Thanks in advance. | |
