Subject: Green Lightning Claims

Middlesex County, Ontario

Claims
- Green Lightning is not forthcoming about the concentration of N in their product. They say it can't be accurately tested. They have some loose claims that it's around 2%.
- Around 100 gallon per acre is claimed to be an optimal rate for corn.

All corn growers know that convention wisdom tells us it takes approximately 1 lb/ac actual N to raise 1 bu/ac of corn, and that the form of the Nitrogen fertilizer does not have a drastic impact on that ratio.

Let's put the 2 Green Lightning claims together
- Water weighs 8.34 lb/gal and Green Lightning density is similar to water density
- 100 gal/ac * 8.34 lb/gal * 2% N = 16.68 lb/ac actual N

Green Lightning's claims put together is that it takes 0.1 lb/ac actual N to raise 1 bu/ac of corn when the Nitrogen is in Green Lightning form. That's a ten fold improvement in Nitrogen efficiency over any other form of Nitrogen.

Corn responds 10x more efficiently to Nitrogen in Green Lightning form compared to any other fertilizer form. Wow! Is that not Earth shattering world wide news that should be being studied world wide by every agricultural research facility?
