Eastern Nebraska | I'm not sure I understand the arrangement, from what you are saying is he buying groups basically ready to go? Is the feeding basically just feeding them to hold them until he's ready to kill?
If that's the case there will be a lot of unloading/loading time and messing around with new cattle all the time. Will he have a new group show up before he's cleared out the previous one?
Almost seems like a yardage per hd/day situation will work but at a much higher rate to justify the small group size and handling time involved.
Or maybe a flat fee per month + Feed at 10% markup. Then he's basically renting your facility no matter the animal count since it sounds like it would fluctuate a lot. | |
