Subject: RE: Climate fieldview to ag leader

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
I do not do this personally since we use an Ag Leader in the planting tractor. That display is moved to the Hagie sprayer and then to the combine for harvest so our maps are available while spraying or harvesting.

There is an approach that I explored for a customer some years ago when I worked as a Tech. This may fit your situation.

It involves using Ag Leader's SMS program. The general steps were 1) use SMS to process the planting data from the a non-Ag Leader device 2) save this data on a USB stick. 3) insert the stick in the Ag Leader display in the combine. 4) inform the Ag Leader that you wish to use the data as a background reference map.

The Ag Leader will then be able to show you the varieties etc. that were collected with the other device. The Ag Leader will then behave as if it were involved with the actual planting. The data on the stick does not become part of the Ag Leader's memory but is only a temporary reference file.

This means if you go to another field you would need to load the reference file for that field. If you return back to a field that has been partially harvested you would need to load the reference map for that field again.

I know this did work for some planting situations. I don't know if it would work with your 20/20.
