Does peat ground hold Nh3 over winter like the majority of the heavy black ground in Southern Minnesota? Have usually left the peat ground along with sandy ground till spring. Would be nice to have it knocked out this fall. Started thinking about its nitrogen holding capability. Sometimes I wonder if it even need nitrogen?
