Subject: Grazing old CRP over winter

Iv got an expired CRP field we swath and bale for grinder hay. I generally swath it down first of august and might make 1000lbs/acre. Usual eastern Colorado CRP. But this year has been a pain in the butt and we didn’t get to it. It’s all brown and dead since early October. I had wondered about grazing it off and oddly my neighbor asked about it to. Would it be worth even considering grazing it this mature and this late? It’s mostly blue grama, smooth brome, buffalo grass, and salt grass. Have had several hard freezes but oddly no snow yet.
